Jay-walking Time Square during what normally was morning or afternoon rush hour wasn’t something I thought I’d be ever able to do, but Covid changed everything. At the height of the lock down, the streets were nearly completely empty and desolate. Being an essential worker, I had to continue to commute to work, but getting to witness NYC like this was pretty spectacular.
Things in NYC are pretty much back to normal now, but here are some pics taken during the lockdown. I like to think the city that never sleeps finally got to have a nap. Take note that these were taken during morning and afternoon rush hour.
